But content creation sucks up way too much of your time. You’re stressed marketing when you rather connect with and serve your ideal clients. You’re even a little embarrassed because you’re not sure how your blog posts perform. It’s hard to admit you don’t know what you’re doing with your content.
You’re ready to have your blog content work harder for you to grow your business so you can focus on what you do best. It’s okay. I can help you.
I'm the blog content writer and editor helping womxn coaches and consultants save time planning, creating, and updating their blog posts so they can show up in search results to attract more clients.
My hearing loss directed me towards a life-long love of words. I could’ve joined one of the family businesses, but writing called to me. I started my first blog in 2014. After many lessons, I pivoted in 2017 to help empower other female entrepreneurs using what I learned to get an article found in search results so their voice is amplified.
Imagine a young girl...
never letting mean whispers bother her because she’d never hear them anyway. She learned to read and write before learning to talk in her native language.
Well, that was me. I was born partially deaf in both ears but that doesn't define me. It provided my first obstacles.
My hearing loss is an asset because my superpower is listening. I observe details most never notice. I read lip movements, body language, tone, and inflections others might miss.
And I'm never too proud to ask anyone to repeat themselves if I need clarification.
In middle school...
I discovered creative writing styles that I enjoyed experimenting with. I picked up a dictionary and a thesaurus to start my personal library collection. I would flip through these pages to learn more about the English language for fun.
In high school...
teachers suspected plagiarism in my writing. I started looking at my classmates’ papers. First, I’d offer free editing advice if they wanted it. Then I’d take all their writing on average and compare them to my papers.
I started playing with my writing style. I’d read the newspaper and magazines to analyze the way they wrote then mimicked a few pieces. I mastered academic writing then switched to business writing in the healthcare industry. It was both easier and more boring.
I knew my life was heading towards becoming a writer of some sort. Yet, I fell into what I’d later learn is a quarter-life crisis. My life appeared perfect on the outside. Yet, I was unsatisfied at the end of the day. I scrolled through Pinterest when I saw a pin that talked about postpartum PTSD. I read the article and cried. I knew then that not only did I have postpartum PTSD too, but this woman inspired me to start a blog, any blog.
Writing was easy. I’ve had a lot of practice with many different styles of writing. I took that ease for granted. For once, I had to work hard to write good enough. Content writing and copywriting were the hardest writing styles I’ve attempted yet. I practiced. It frustrated me that it didn’t come easily. I worked hard to learn and improve.
I started a free blog to learn how to run my own blogging website. I bought my first domain name in 2016. I had no idea what I was going to do with it. I explored my options and finally started as a content editor in 2017. What once was a web content editing service is now a full blog content writing service. My results inspired me to focus on this service for my clients. Now, I help successful coaches focus by simplifying their blog content marketing.
I love my work as a blog content writer and blog editor. Every day I’m thankful for the opportunities I have to make a tangible difference in my clients’ lives.
And let’s be real. Any womxn I get to support in standing up, speaking out, and making noise is exactly the kind of womxn I want to support.
Your blog content marketing can be as simple as you want it. I can help.
